Man enters wrong home
YOUNGSTOWN
A man at a West Side home was arrested on a warrant early Thursday after he mistakenly tried to enter the wrong home while he was drunk, police said.
Police were called to North Whitney Avenue at about 12:45 a.m., where neighbors said Robert Haynes, 44, was drunk and knocking on a door at a home he thought was his, but was not.
Haynes had managed to get to the correct home by the time police arrived, but officers ran a records check and found that he had a warrant for failure to appear for a driving-under- suspension charge. He was arrested and taken to Mahoning County jail until he is arraigned in Youngstown Municipal Court.
