Deals for Wheels program in effect through Aug. 31

Staff report

YOUNGSTOWN

Mahoning County Child Support Enforcement Agency is offering an opportunity to reinstate suspended driver’s licenses for a one-month payment plus $1 on the arrears, and an agreement to seek employment if the individual is not working.

The “Deals for Your Wheels” program is only good through Aug. 31 to honor August as Child Support Awareness Month.

If you are an absent parent with a suspended license and wish to participate in the offer, visit Oakhill Renaissance Place, 345 Oak Hill Ave., between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., and ask to speak to a license-suspension case manager.

A one-month payment plus the $1 will provide the required reinstatement form.

The form, along with the required $25 reinstatement fee, can then be presented to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles Regional Reinstatement Center to earn back a license.

For information, contact the CSEA at 330-740-2073 and ask for a license-suspension case manager.
