Cat shelter needs caring volunteers

YOUNGSTOWN

West Side Cats needs volunteers to support the rescue and adoption of homeless and abused cats and kittens in the Mahoning Valley.

People are needed for daily cleaning, website help, fundraiser assistance, etc. The shelter helps adopt out about 500 cats and kittens a year. It is a 501(c)3 no-kill facility run exclusively by volunteers.

Visit during open hours and tour the shelter to see if this is something you would like to do. Shelter hours are 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 6 p.m. Visit www.westsidecats.com.
