MAY SNAPZ: Nurses are Patient People

The week of May 6-12 is National Nurses’ Week, devoted to giving special recognition to those who are truly the heart of health care — nurses!

The 6th is National Nurses’ Day, and the 12th — the birthday of Florence Nightingale — is International Nurses’ Day.

For our May feature, simply send us a picture of your favorite nurse — whether a relative, friend or that angel with a stethoscope who touched your life or the life of a loved one.

We’ll publish a few of the ones we receive in our “Patient People” feature in our Sunday, May 5, edition, and they’ll all be posted on our website.
