ASSOCIATIONS

American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will have a joint meeting with Warren AAUW at 10 a.m. May 4 in the Kidston Classroom at Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown. After the meeting there will be a guided tour of the gardens and lunch at noon.

Mill Creek Chapter of American Business Women’s Association will have election of new officers at its May 14 meeting at the Saxon Club pavilion on Meridian Road, Austintown. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30. The buffet comprises stuffed chicken breast, stuffed cabbage rolls, red skin parsley potatoes, Prince Edward vegetable blend, salad, rolls with butter, coffee, tea and dessert for $19. Southwest Neighborhood Association will have its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, 1590 Tod Ave SW, Warren. SOCIETIES

Hubbard Historical Society will sponsor a spring garage sale at Mageros Candies, 132 N. Main St., Hubbard, on May 3 and 4. In case of rain the sale will be extended to May 5. Donations for the sale will be accepted at Mageros during regular business hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. No clothing or furniture will be accepted. Donations may be tax-deductible.
