11-year-old charged with domestic violence

WARREN

Police charged an 11-year-old Nevada Avenue Southwest girl with misdemeanor domestic violence Wednesday afternoon after she allegedly assaulted her 6-year-old sister at a home on Highland Avenue Southwest.

Police said they took the 11-year-old into custody after determining she was the primary aggressor. The girl was later turned over to the Trumbull County Juvenile Justice Center.

The 6-year-old suffered an apparent minor injury. A police report said the 6-year-old weighs 60 pounds, the 11-year-old weighs 105.
