NASHVILLE, Tenn.

An attorney says 3 Doors Down bassist Robert Todd Harrell has checked himself into drug treatment after being charged with killing someone while driving under the influence.

Attorney Ed Ryan says he could not disclose where Harrell is being treated.

Harrell is facing multiple charges, including vehicular homicide by intoxication.

Authorities say he caused a fatal interstate crash in a Nashville suburb last weekend.
