The primary service offered by HealthTap, an interactive health company, is the ability to ask health questions online and via mobile devices for free to a network of United States-licensed physicians, with which Drs. Villaplana, Finley-Belgrad and Pascolini are affiliated.

The Winter 2013 HealthTap Top Doctor Competition brought together thousands of HealthTap network doctors who competed for local, state and national awards in the categories of Top Doctor, Top Specialist, Most Influential Doctor, and Thought Leader, said Dr. Jeff Livingston, HealthTap medical director.

Winners were selected by other doctors, who rated their peers based on demonstrated knowledge and expertise, and by consumers, who rated doctors on bedside manner and personality, Livingston said.
