U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan married Andrea Zetts from Struthers in a private ceremony over the past weekend in New York City.
The marriage was followed by a carriage ride in Central Park and a quiet dinner, according to a statement today from Ryan’s office.
His wife is a teacher at Seaborn Elementary School in the Weathersfield Local School District.
This is the second marriage for Ryan, of Niles, D-13th, a congressman since 2003.
Early-voting hours set in Trumbull Co.
WARREN
The Trumbull County Board of Elections has established its extended early-voting hours and dates for the last few days before the May 7 primary election at the Board of Election office, 2947 Youngstown Road SE.
All registered voters can vote early from 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday the last two weeks before the election and until 6 p.m. May 3, 8:30 a.m. to noon May 4 and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 6.
Curfew violations
NILES
Police charged two boys, age 15 and 17, with curfew and other violations at 2:55 a.m. Sunday after officers saw them walking along North Road near the Timber Creek Apartments.
After the boys were confirmed to be juveniles, they were arrested for a curfew violation. One of the boys had possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; the other had cigarettes.
Both were released to their parents and told the Trumbull County Juvenile Justice Center would contact them regarding a court date.
