Police on the scene of South Side shooting

YOUNGSTOWN — City police are on the scene in the 800 block of Avondale Avenue after neighbors reported multiple gun shots shortly after 4 p.m.

Early reports say two people were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center. One person is said to be in critical condition and one is in stable condition.

Police are continuing to investigate.
