Bright-Weymer wedding set for summer

VIENNA

Paul and Lou Ann Weymer of Vienna are announcing the engagement of their son, Matthew Weymer of Vienna, and Laura Bright of Youngstown.

Parents of the bride-elect are Bob and Kathy Bright of Grove City, Ohio.

The couple are planning a 3 p.m. July 6 wedding at Northwest United Methodist Church in Columbus. An evening reception will follow at the Columbus Athenaeum. Invitations will be issued.

The future bride earned a bachelor’s degree at Miami University and a master’s degree in sport pedagogy from Baylor University. She is membership coordinator for the YMCA of Youngstown.

The prospective groom earned a degree in social studies education from Miami University. He is a high school history teacher and varsity baseball coach for Springfield Schools in New Middletown.
