Spaghetti fundraiser set for Larry Ortz

AUSTINTOWN

Friends and family of Larry Ortz of Austintown are planning a spaghetti dinner and basket auction to help defer expenses for Ortz, who is in long-term care awaiting a consultation with a lung transplant specialist in Cleveland. He and his wife, Connie, have three children, Michael, Sam and Carly.

The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. May 5 at the Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive.

The auction will feature more than 100 baskets and gift cards, and a separate auction will be for items such as five Chris Yambar autographed comic books and an outdoor patio set.

Donations can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Austintown Senior Center or from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at Austintown Township Hall, 82 Ohltown Road.
