LOUIE TODAY: Escape from a dog-fighting ring; trash strike; 'God & the Atom'

Join Louie Friday when he'll be talking with Cynthia Schlichting about her book: "As Bright As The Sun,"

which chronicles the journey of a dog named Bella to a family that became her own, and the unimaginable circumstances she had to endure as a victim of dog-fighting in order to make her way home. It's a story of love and loss, filled with both laughter and tears, that every person who has ever advocated for and loved an animal will want to read.

Also, Green Youngtown's Jennifer Jones will give an update on the area recycling issues during the ongoing Republic/Allied strike. She'll also talk about the coming Great American Clean Up.

And Dr Victor Stenger returns. The retired elementary particle physicist is author of 11 books including the 2007 New York Times bestseller"God: The Failed Hypothesis. How Science Shows That God Does Not Exist."

Prof. Stenger will talk about his just released book:"God and the Atom."

Then, from Youngstown State University', Department of Communication Chairman Adam C. Earnheardt returns to talk about social media and Monday's Boston bombing.
