Jr. League to host annual derby party

VIENNA

Junior League of Youngstown is hosting its 4th annual Kentucky Derby Party from 4:30 to 8 p.m. May 4 at Squaw Creek-Avalon Golf & Country Club, 761 Youngstown-Kingsville Road SE.

The evening will include live entertainment, Southern-style cuisine with cash bar, a silent auction and a hat contest with local celebrity judges.

Proceeds will benefit the development of the Junior League of Youngstown’s community impact focus area of school readiness through nutrition and childhood obesity, as well as continuing the mission of training and educating members to be volunteers.
