Cafe Cimmento to close
Cafe Cimmento will welcome customers for the last time this Saturday after owner George Mager announced the restaurant will close its doors.
The restaurant, located at 120 East Boardman Street, near the Covelli Centre, first opened seven years ago to meet demand from growing crowds at the auditorium.
Mager, 64, said his son, Jonathan, the cafe’s head chef, has been offered a “very good job locally” and without him Mager does not want to continue with the business.
After the doors close, Mager, who described himself as “semi-retired,” will focus on his golf game and look for part-time work.
