Library will feature story of bluegrass


WARREN

A free program featuring a film screening and discussion of “High Lonesome: the Story of Bluegrass Music,” a documentary about country and bluegrass, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW.

Dr. Kenneth J. Bindas, professor and chair of the department of history at Kent State University, will introduce the film and lead an audience discussion.

The program is open to the public.

Reservations are not required.

Attendees at each of six America’s Music sessions at the library will get a ticket to enter in a drawing for four admission tickets to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland.
