Austintown resignation

BOARDMAN

Austintown Zoning Inspector Darren Crivelli has submitted his letter of resignation to township Administrator Mike Dockry because Crivelli has accepted an offer from Boardman Township to return to its zoning department.

Crivelli confirmed the resignation Monday and said he plans to move to Boardman upon his start at the beginning of May. Crivelli moved to Austintown after working in Boardman zoning for 10 years.

“Darren has done an admirable job in his capacity of zoning inspector in Austintown,” said Lisa Oles, Austintown Township trustee. “We are sorry to see him leave, especially in the midst of having so many projects on the table.”

Officials in Boardman could not be reached Monday to comment on the position change.
