Children's play area will benefit from 5k

Fitness Together and Mill Creek MetroParks are sponsoring the third annual Fitness Together 5k on May 4 at the Wick Recreation Area in Mill Creek Park. Runners and walkers will step off at 9 a.m.

Fitness Together is donating the proceeds to the MetroParks new children’s play area at the Wick Recreation Area.

Veteran racers, first-time participants and those who would prefer to walk are invited.

Registration fees are $15 before May 3 and $20 on the day of the event. Register online at www.facebook.com/ftcanfield.
