GARDEN CLUBS

TUESDAY

East will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Davidson’s Restaurant, 3636 Canfield Road, Cornersburg. Kitty Matasy will serve as hostess.

Trailwood Gardeners will meet at 11:30 a.m. Richard Scarsella will discuss “The Mafia.” Take a bag lunch. Hostess is Sue Van Zandt; co-hostesses are Mary Jane Becherer and Marilyn Sutton.

THURSDAY

Coitsville will meet at Parks Greenhouse and White House Farms.

Johnny Appleseed will meet at 6:30 p.m. for a spring salad buffet at the home of Jane Evans. Door prize will be provided by Donna Ospichak.

Mignonette will meet at 6 p.m. at Lutz Greenhouse, 7879 W. Pine Lake Road, Greenford, to plant and leave it, or at 4:30 p.m. to eat at Broad Street Diner, 464 S. Broad St., Canfield. Members can take an 8- or 10-inch container or buy one. There will be a slight charge for soil and plants. Call 330-286-3463. Guests are welcome.
