InfoCision Management Corp. has won its 20th consecutive Marketing Via Phone Quality Award from Customer Magazine. InfoCision has been the only company to be honored every year since the award’s inception in 1993. The award honors leading teleservices companies that display the greatest dedication to providing high-level quality assurance procedures and technologies, client service, customer satisfaction and employee training and engagement.

Shepherd of the Valley, which operates assisted-living facilities throughout the region, has named its employees of the year at each of its area locations. They are: Anna Lisa Fawcett, an aide at the Niles location; Christina Resek, a member of the housekeeping staff at the Boardman location; Lisa Freeman, a licensed practical nurse at the Howland location; Aaron Simko, an employee in the dietary department in Poland; and Melissa Tustin, an accounts receivable supervisor at the company’s corporate office.

Herbert, Rowland & Grubic Inc. has hired Timothy W. Schram as a survey project manager in the company’s Columbiana office. He will be responsible for overseeing land-survey projects at the full-service engineering firm. Schram has 32 years of industry experience and is a licensed professional surveyor in Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Texas.

Doris Neel has been hired by Real Living Volpini Realty Group’s Boardman/Canfield office. Neel has 20 years of experience. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Ohio Association of Realtors and the Youngstown-Columbiana Association of Realtors.

Klacik Real Estate has announced the hiring of John Lapin. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the commercial and residential real- estate business. He is a board member for Youngstown Cityscape and co-chairman of the Streetscape Committee.

Matt LaValliere has been named area manager for Trumbull County at the Home Savings and Loan Company. LaValliere joined Home Savings in 2006, he formerly served as the senior branch manager for both the Salem and Lisbon offices. He is a graduate of Hiram College.

Stephen Hurtuk, a financial adviser at Stifel Financial Corp. in Boardman, has been promoted to first vice president/investments. He has more than 35 years of investment industry experience and joined Stifel in 2007. He has a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University.

James Wellington has joined the mortgage team at Cortland Banks. He will work at the bank’s new Mahoning County mortgage office. Wellington has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago. With more than 25 years’ experience in the industry, he has been recognized as one of the top producing mortgage originators in the area.
