Friday: The Hartford native’s best lap was at 191.891 mph as he qualified 28th for tonight’s NRA 500 at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.

To date: Blaney is 29th in the Sprint Cup points standings with 104 points in six starts. He has not yet notched a top-five or top-10 finish this season.

This weekend: Blaney will look to change that tonight. The race begins at 8 p.m. on FOX.
