Benefit run, walk set at Austintown park

AUSTINTOWN

There will be a Tails on Trails 5k run/1 mile walk May 4 at Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road.

Registration will be at 5 p.m., and the walk begins at 6:30.

Registration fees are $16 before April 26 and $20 after that date. Participants preregistered will be guaranteed a T-shirt.

Awards will be given. There will be entertainment, food vendors, basket raffle and dogs for adoption. Dogs are welcome.

Proceeds will benefit Friends of Fido and Mahoning County Dog Pound.
