The Trumbull Career & Technical Center has been certified as an official adult testing center for Ohio.

Acceptance into the University System of Ohio Talent Development Network brings TCTC into a network of schools that offer assessment and job-matching services through partnering with a group of human-capital development firms.

“Our association with USO TDN will give us access to the best job-matching services for our students and employers,” Dora Zandarski, TCTC training coordinator, said. “With access to this network, our students will be better able to take charge of their own job and career directions.”

The USO TDN is a statewide workforce-development system facilitated through adult-career centers and public two-year colleges. It uses a variety of national and international vendors to provide services to employers and individuals.

“The key of the USO TDN system,” Zandarski said, “is identifying skill levels and preferences to match the right person with the right job, and then developing them to their highest potential in the job.”

“We are excited at the potential this accreditation lends us to attract more employers of the quality of those we already serve, Zandarski said. TCTC currently does testing for clients such as Starr Manufacturing, Ohio Star Forge, Harbison Walker and Champion Local Schools.
