Act of Courage nominations due by April 30

WARREN

April 30 is the deadline to submit nominations for the American Red Cross of the Mahoning Valley’s 2013 Acts of Courage Awards. To nominate a local hero who has helped save a life, call 330-392-2551.

Nominees must live or be employed in Mahoning or Trumbull counties. The heroic event may have happened anywhere, but must have occurred between April 1, 2012, and April 1, 2013.

Award recipients will be honored at a Red Cross dinner.

As a community leader in emergency preparedness and response, the Red Cross annually presents the Acts of Courage Awards to residents of the Valley who have acted courageously and selflessly in a time of emergency.
