MINORITY HEALTH MONTH EVENTS
Minority Health Month (MHM) was created in Ohio in April 1989, and in 2000 became a national celebration. The Youngstown Office on Minority Health opened in 2008.
Area MHM activities include:
Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Reed Memorial Library, 167 East Main St., Ravenna; “Steps to a Healthier You,” group breakout sessions with nutritionists, nurse, physical therapist discuss steps to take in making and maintaining healthy lifestyle choices.
