Farewell to Austintown school next Wednesday

AUSTINTOWN

To say farewell to Lloyd Elementary School, Austintown School District will have a farewell celebration from 5:30 to 7 p.m next Wednesday at the school, 5705 Norquest Blvd.

The school has been in the community for 58 years, and all public, past faculty, administration and alumni are invited to attend. Tours of the building will be available.

The event is free and sponsored by the staff and the Lloyd Parent Teacher Association.

The school will be consolidated with other elementary schools.
