Poland 10, Austintown Fitch 5

AUSTINTOWN

Aleah Hughes, Meredith Testa and Anna Barnhart doubled for Poland (5-0, 1-0 All-American Conference American Division). For the Falcons (0-2, 0-1), Cali Mikovich’s three hits included a double. She scored three runs and stole four bases. Driving in runs were Alex Corradi, Alana Callahan, Alex Franken, Gabby Butcher, and Nicholette Zordich.

Canfield 12, Howland 6

HOWLAND

Kayley Kellerm Kara Rothbauer and Rachel Tinkey homered for the Cardinals (1-0, 1-0 AAC American). Sydney Opladen doubled. For the Tigers, Emily Price hit a two-run homer and Olga Grech connected for a solo homer.

Hubbard 10, Niles 0

HUBBARD

McKenzie Learn hit two doubles and drove in three runs for the Eagles (2-3, 1-0 All-American Conference American Division). Olivia Sandberg also had two doubles and two RBIs while Julia Clemente doubled. Melyssa Conger tossed a two-hitter. Gabriela Hoscak drove in two runs with two hits. Also with two singles were Maddy Nicoloff, Taylor Barton and Caitlin O’Hara.

Newton Falls 7, Champion 6

CHAMPION

A. Harrah’s three hits included a double for the Tigers. Winning pitcher Bailey Shade struck out six and walked three. For the Golden Flashes (1-2, 0-1 All-American Conference National Division), Mackenzie hit two homers and drove in three runs. Kayla Hunt (1-2) struck out six and walked one.

LaBrae 17, Campbell 0

LEAVITTSBURG

Skyler Gilanyi fired a no-hitter and contributed two hits and two RBI to the LaBrae (5-0) offense. Jessica Buck had a triple, a double and two runs batted in and Taylor Smith added two doubles, a single and two RBI. Emily Dugan drove home three runs.

Jackson-Milton 7, Lisbon 1

LISBON

Caitlyn Carney’s Carney three hits included two doubles and she drove in two runs for the Bluejays (6-1, 3-0 ITCL1). Madison Tomaino had three singles and scored three runs while winning pitcher Paije Kiraly (6-1) struck out seven and walked none in tossing a three-hitter. The Blue Devils are 2-2.

Springfield 13, East Palestine 4

EAST PALESTINE

Shelby Sandrock homered twice while Nicole Siciliano and Charley Troggio each homered and doubled for the Tigers (3-2, 3-0 ITCL1). Winning pitcher Sami Semach struck out nine. For the Bulldogs, Karly Pence struck out 10 batters.

Mineral Ridge 3, Crestview 2, 9 innings

MINERAL RIDGE

Peyton Allen drove in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth to support the pitching of Darby Kolesar who fanned 14 and walked none. The Rams (2-2, 1-2 ITCL) took a 2-0 lead in the sixth before Crestivew rallied to tie the game in the seventh. Adrienne Huston had a triple and two singles for the Rebels.

Columbiana 11, Sebring 0

SEBRING

Dakota Deamicis tossed a two-hit shutout, striking out 11 and walking none. She also contributed three hits at the plate. Holly Gotthardt and Colette Steiginga each two hits for the Clippers (5-1, 3-0 ITCL2). The Trojans are 3-3, 3-1.

McDonald 16, Southern 0

MCDONALD

Winning pitcher Leigh Gatta’s three hits included a three-run homer. She drove in six runs , struck out 10 and walked none in the four innings she pitched. Kerrigan McDermott had three hits and three RBIs while Eloise Yates had three hits for the Blue Devils (1-4, 1-2 Inter Tri-County League Tier Two). Jenna Golden, Taylor Dean, Deedee Keener and Summer Woloschak had two hits. Woloschak and Kari Montello doubled.
