The Youngstown Phantoms scored three goals over a 61/2-minute span in the third period to take control en route to a 4-1 win in a USHL game against the Chicago Steel.

After Chicago’s Charlie O’Connor scored in the first 20 seconds of the third period, Youngstown’s Alexander Dahl tied it at 18:52 off an assist from Josh Nenadal.

The Phantoms’ Daniel Renouf made it 2-1 on an assist from James Mazza at 17:09. Then, at the 12:36 mark, Zach Evancho scored off assists from Sam Anas and Renouf, who then added an empty-net goal in the final seconds.

Sean Romeo made 22 saves for the Phantoms (35-25-0). Alex Sakellaropolous had 24 saves for the Steel (27-30-4).
