The Rev. Joel Theis heard the exchange of vows between Lesley Furgan and Jason Reed at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 7, 2012, at Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio.

The newlyweds accepted congratulations at a reception in the same location. Following their wedding, they live in Worthington, Ohio.

Parents of the bride are Jim and Kathy Furgan of Boardman. The groom is the son of Valerie Kerr of Niles.

The bride wore a strapless fit and flare gown with a sweetheart neckline. It was enhanced with English netting, alencon lace detailing at the bust and a satin sash adorned with pearls and crystals.

Maid of honor was Kristin Demidovich. Bridesmaids were Lauren Furgan, sister of the bride; Christina Duritza, cousin of the bride; Debbie Hodros; and Katie Kesten. The bride’s cousin, Kamryn Duritza, was flower girl. The attendants wore violet gowns.

Bill Duritza, cousin of the bride, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Bobby Ware; Adam Harvel; Mike Tonkovich, cousin of the groom; and Jim Furgan, brother of the bride. Nathan Duritza, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising from Kent State University. She is a store manager at Coach in Columbus.

The groom attended Youngstown State University. He is a grocery manager at Giant Eagle in Columbus.
