VIRGINIA BEACH, VA.

The Lesner Inn Catering Club in Virginia Beach, Va., provided the setting for the March 10 wedding and reception of Julie Michelle Colaneri and Martin K. Mayer II, both of Virginia Beach. Harold McGee was the officiant at the 6 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gerald A. Colaneri of Lowellville and Renee M. Rice of New Middletown. The groom’s parents are Martin and Joyce Meyer of North Jackson.

The bride wore a duchess satin A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline and sweep train. The ensemble was embellished with horizontal pleating of the bodice and a Swarovski crystal belt.

Andrea Miller served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kayce Barnes; Julie Toth, sister of the groom; and Molly Colaneri, sister-in-law of the bride. The attendants wore coral gowns.

Greg Speece performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Steve Papania; Shaun Toth, brother-in-law of the groom; and Justin Colaneri, brother of the bride.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in arts from the College of William and Mary and a juris doctorate at the University of Akron. She is an associate attorney at Hancock, Daniel, Johnson and Nagle, P.C. in Virginia Beach.

The groom received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Akron. He is pursuing a doctorate at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va., where he is a research assistant.

After their wedding, the couple reside in Virginia Beach.
