Guard Jalon Plummer commits to Youngstown State
Jalon Plummer, a 6-foot-4 guard from Romulus (Mich.) High, verbally committed to Youngstown State's basketball team on Saturday, according to his Twitter account.
Plummer averaged 11 points and six rebounds last season for Romulus, which won Michigan's Class A state title. Earlier, the Penguins signed San Antonio native Marcus Keene, a 5-9 point guard at Warren High.
Plummer is one of four Division I recruits from his high school team, joining Wes Clark (Missouri), E.C. Matthews (Rhode Island) and Leo Edwards (Louisiana Tech).
