Fatal crash shuts down I-76 west of state Route 534

Interstate 76 westbound just west of state Route 534 is currently closed due to a crash, the Ohio Department of Transportation reports. The detour is SR 534 to County Road 18 to SR 225 to I-76 west. There is no estimated re-opening time at this point.

There is one confirmed dead and one injured from a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 76 just west of state Route 534 when an SUV crossed the median and was hit head on by a semi at 7:49 a.m. today.
