The Niles Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding a 44-year-old Niles woman who disappeared from her North Road apartment after leaving a suicide note.

Kimberly D. Carter of 1227 North Road, Apt. 135, sent text messages Monday to a coworker threatening to harm herself, Niles police said.

She is a black female, 5-foot-8, 172 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Her vehicle is a gray 2005 Chevy Equinox with an Ohio license plate, FGD-8408.

When officers got to Carter’s apartment, she and her car were gone. Carter is a General Motors Lordstown transfer worker from out of state and has not been to work since March 28.

If anyone sees Carter or her vehicle, call Niles police at 330-652-9944.
