Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, open exercise at 9 a.m., painting class ($5) at 9:30, bingo at 10, intermediate computer class at noon and painting/drawing class at 12:30 p.m.; Tuesday, bingo at 10 a.m., Vets Helping Vets and bridge at 10:30, line dancing at 11, Kitchen Krew at noon and Healthy U at 1 p.m; Wednesday, open exercise at 9 a.m., bingo at 10, pizza party ($3) at noon and classic movie, “Dave,” at 1 p.m.; Thursday, Trip to Amish Holmes County at 9 a.m., yoga ($2) and open exercise at 9:30, bingo at 10, beginning crochet at 11:30 and Bible study and cards and dogs at noon; and Friday, Wii practice at 9 a.m., bingo and discussion group at 10, Wii bowling practice at 11:30 and beginners computer class at noon. Girard Multi-Generational Center, 443 Trumbull Ave., has planned the following: Monday, morning stretch class at 9:30 a.m. and knitting and crocheting at 10; Tuesday, exercise with Jude at 9:30 a.m. and computer tutoring 2 to 4 p.m.; Wednesday, morning stretch class at 9:30 a.m., computer class at 10, health screenings 10 to noon and yoga 3 to 4 p.m.; Thursday, exercise with Jude at 9:30 a.m. and yoga 10:15 to 11:15; and Friday, morning stretch class at 9:30 a.m., tai chi ($5) at noon and computer tutoring 1:30-3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday: coffee bar 8:30 to 11 a.m., fitness rooms and computer cafe, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., adult basketball and cornhole, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with Wii gaming system, air hockey and pingpong also available. Warren S.C.O.P.E. Center, 220 W. Market St., Warren, will be offering a series of fall computer classes for Trumbull County seniors over 60. The free introductory/orientation class is scheduled for Wednesday from 10 a.m .to noon. The remaining classes will be $2 per person each session. All skill levels are welcome. Those owning laptops are encouraged to take them to class. A special one-time keyboarding class ( $2 per person) is planned for Friday, also from 10 a.m. to noon. Call 330-399-8846 to register.

Whispering Oaks, an independent community, has planned Let’s Talk Seniors seminars for Friday and Oct. 13 at 260 S. Buhl Farm Drive in Hermitage, Pa. All seniors and families are invited free of charge. The seminars include protection from senior scams, hosted by Capt.
