SENIOR CITIZENS


55-Plus Club-Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church. After the meeting there will be card games and members will dine out. Hostesses are June Keeley and Gayle Hollowell.

Ajax Magnethermic Retirees will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Station Square, 4250 Belmont Ave. Guests are welcome.

Canfield Chapter 3104 of AARP will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure screenings will be available from noon to 12:45. The speaker will be Atty. Thomas J. Lodge with the Youngstown law firm of Roth, Blair, Roberts, Strasfeld and Lodge. His topics will be estate planning, wills and trusts. Reservations will be taken for a bus trip Nov. 9. Lowellville Senior Citizens will have their monthly meeting at noon Friday in the conference room at City Hall. Ernie Ciarniello will preside. Lunch will be provided by Phyllis Nolfi of Gianna’s Catering. Birthdays and anniversaries for October will be acknowledged. Bingo and a 50-50 raffle will follow. Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Douglas Martin will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. Shenango Valley Chapter 3616 of AARP will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Shenango Valley Senior Center in Hermitage, Pa. for a discussion on the recently enacted voter ID law.
