New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., is accepting orders for Smart Choice Food from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday, 7 to 8 p.m. Oct. 11, and 11 a.m. to noon Oct. 15.

Boxes include meat, pasta, convenience meals and kids’ meals. Prices range from $22 to $36. There are no income restrictions or guidelines.

Pre-order and prepay with cash, money orders or Ohio Direction cards. Ohio Direction cards will be accepted Oct. 11 and 15.

Mail orders will be accepted with payment by postal, bank money orders or certified check payable to New Hope UM Church. To receive a receipt, enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. Mail orders must be received by Oct. 12.

Online ordering at smart-choicefood.com closes 4 p.m. Oct. 16. A 3 percent handling charge will be added to all online orders.

Food-box distribution will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Oct. 27. During the distribution, a community breakfast will be served from 9 to 11 a.m.
