v Museum Day Live!, 1 to 5 p.m.: The Arms Family Museum, 648 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will open its doors for the eighth annual Smithsonian-related event. There’s free admission to visitors who download a Museum Day Live ticket at Smithsonian.com. Each ticket admits two people.

v Jim Frank Combo, 4 to 8 p.m.: The musical group entertains at Oktoberfest at Thompson Park, 26236 Parkway Ave., East Liverpool.

v Fall plant sale, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Visit Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown, to pick plants to enhance your landscape.

v Grape Jamboree, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.: The 49th festival in downtown Geneva celebrates the grape harvest. Entertainment, games, car show and wine tasting will be featured. The event continues from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Conneaut Lake

The Fall Pumpkin Fest is set for Oct. 12-14 at Conneaut Lake. At 5 p.m. Oct. 12, a Bluegrass Benefit for Hospice is planned at Conneaut Lake Park.

A parade will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 13 downtown. Activities are planned from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 13 and 14.

Live entertainment and games for children are planned.
