Communicator dinner, awards set for Thursday

The 19th annual Great Communicator Dinner will be Thursday at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center, 7440 South Ave., hosted by Easter Seals and Youngstown Hearing and Speech Center.

Cash bar will be available at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30.

Recipients of the following awards will be honored: Angels of Easter Seals, the Anthony Vivo Award for dedication to helping people with disabilities and special needs; Hillary Howard, the May Vetterle Award for overcoming speech and hearing disorders and inspiring others with communication challenges; and Bianca Severino, the Frances Schwebel Solomon Spirit of Life Award recognizing a young adult with a disability.

There will be a special presentation of child representatives and an honoree award recognition ceremony.
