Poland Kiwanis to mark 60th year

Poland Kiwanis Club will celebrate its 60th anniversary Sunday.

The club is part of the 21st division of the Ohio District of Kiwanis International. The Downtown Kiwanis Club founded the Poland organization in 1952.

Poland Kiwanis has awarded scholarships and supported Poland High School activities, fireworks, antique car shows and many other community events.

Howard Moyer, treasurer, is a charter member. The club meets for breakfast each Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.
