Kristen Melnek, Chase Colantuoni plan Oct. nuptials

Kristen Lyn Melnek and Chase Anthony Colantuoni, both of Brunswick, Ohio, are engaged, their parents announce.

The bride-to-be is a daughter of Bob and Nancy Melnek of Austintown. The prospective groom is a son of Anthony Colantuoni of Austintown and Donna Colantuoni of Hubbard.

Christ United Presbyterian Church in Youngstown will be the setting for the couple’s Oct. 6 wedding. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek MetroParks.

Miss Melnek earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Baldwin-Wallace College and a master’s degree in business administration from Tiffin University. She is employed as an analytical chemist and lab supervisor at Columbia Chemical in Brunswick.

Mr. Colantuoni holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from the University of Akron. He is employed as a human resources generalist with the GEO Group/Abraxas Youth and Family Services in Pittsburgh.
