ALLIANCES

Ohio Cultural Alliance will have a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church Hall, 54 Laird Ave. Ann Milkovich will discuss the topic “Old World Traditions Lost and Retained: Serbia.” Serbian Ladies Guild will prepare the meal, and Talija, an international dance group from Serbia, will provide cultural enrichment. Membership in the alliance runs from September 2012 to June 2013 and cost $25 per person. In addition, the cost of each meeting is $15 for paid-up members and $20 for nonmembers. ASSOCIATIONS

Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will meet at 6 p.m. Oct. 9 at Rachel’s Restaurant on Westchester Drive in Austintown. Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group, which provides information and encouragement to individuals who have or will have ostomies, sponsored by Humility of Mary Health Partners, will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9 in the Cedar Room at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
