1 dead, 1 injured in Warren shooting today

WARREN

Jeremy Cole, 21, of Linden Avenue was killed by gunfire on Oak Street Southwest, Warren’s fourth homicide of the year.

A woman also was hit by a gunshot but not killed, police said.

The woman was found in the roadway on nearby Oak Circle and was being tended to by neighbors when police were called at a little after noon Thursday, police said.

She was taken to ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
