Junior League will honor breast cancer survivors

The Junior League of Youngstown will honor breast cancer survivors of the Mahoning Valley during its 18th annual Pink Ribbon Tea at 11 a.m. Monday at the The Georgetown, 5945 South Ave.

Brenda Rider, A Way with Words Foundation founder, will speak. Rider, a breast-cancer survivor, also founded R.O.C.c.K. (Raising Our Commitment to Cancer Kids) Children’s Choir, which will perform at the event. Cancer survivors who have not received an invitation should call the league office at 330-743-3200.
