Fashion show to aid in rescue of children


NEWTON FALLS

A fashion show fundraiser will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 1 at Roby Lee’s, 425 Ridge Road, for Betty’s Angels, an emergency 24-hour shelter in Warren that protects children from homelessness, sexual abuse, drug addiction, human trafficking and neglect.

Tickets for the fashion show are $15 for adults and $9.99 for children 12, and under, and include lunch.Payment can be made by credit card or check and mailed to: Betty Strawderman, 4075 Fairlawn Heights, Warren, OH 44484. Include your name, email address, street address, state and ZIP code. Tickets are to be picked up at the show.

Ad space is being sold for the booklet for the fashion show. Ads are due by Nov. 1. They cost $25 for a business card; $50 for a quarter-page black and white ad; $150 for a full-page black and white ad; $100 for a half-page color ad; and $200 for full-page color ad. Sponsors buying $100 or more will receive two free tickets to the show.

Betty Strawderman has been providing shelter, advocacy, education and support services to children since 1977.
