2 arrested for Boardman robbery


BOARDMAN — Boardman police have arrested two young men for a Saturday robbery at Circle K on Lockwood Boulevard.

Bryan N. Sheely, 18, of New Middletown, and Brett A. Irwin, 17, of Boardman, are charged with aggravated robbery.

The two are accused of threatening a Circle K employee with a knife while demanding money, police said.

They were arrested about 9:30 p.m. Monday. Sheely was taken to Mahoning County jail and Irwin was taken to the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center.
