Ridge woman on game show

Krislyn Woolley of Mineral Ridge will be a contestant on CBS television show “Let’s Make a Deal” at 10 a.m. Thursday on WKBN-27.

On the game show, audience members dress in outlandish costumes to win cash and prizes by making deals. The one-hour series is hosted by Emmy Award-winner Wayne Brady

Pet celebration and petting zoo

The annual Pet Celebration at Christ Episcopal Church will be Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with an animal blessing at 5 p.m.

The event, which is free to the public and is intended to honor pets, will be on the grounds of the church at 2627 Atlantic St. In case of rain, it will be in the parish hall.

Activities will include free pony rides and a petting zoo. A pet market place will showcase local pet-related vendors.

Contests for the pet who looks most like its owner, the best dressed pet, the pet who performs the best trick, and the most unusual pet will begin at 3:30 p.m.

A pet health and wellness discussion will be held by Dr. Rufus Sparks of Town & Country Veterinary Hospital at 4:15 p.m.
