Girard spay/neuter clinic open house today

GIRARD

Steel Valley Spay Neuter Clinic, 405 S. State St., will host an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. today. There will be door prizes, giveaways and refreshments.

The clinic, owned and operated by Dr. Suzanne Wilcox, opened early in September. It provides low-cost spay and neuter and animal wellness services to help end the warehousing of pets and eliminate preventable euthanasia.

The clinic will donate $5 for every spay and neuter procedure done in the month of September to the clinic’s top five rescues and shelters.
