Girl Scout Round Up, 50th in Vermont

There will be a reunion for “girls” who attended the 1962 Girl Scout Round Up from today through Friday at Basin Harbor Club, one mile from Button Bay, Vt.

They are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 1962 Roundup and the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts.

Roundup “girls” from all four Roundups are invited, 1956 Michigan, 1959 Colorado, 1962 Vermont and 1965 Idaho.

In 1962, 16 girls who attended from the Youngstown area trained at the former Camp Millwood in Canfield.
