Register to vote Tuesday at area libraries

YOUNGSTOWN

National Voter Registration Day is Tuesday, and to celebrate, the League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown will be registering voters at the Austintown, East Newport, Canfield and Main libraries.

In cooperation with the league’ efforts, Rebecca Soldan, a Youngstown State University student, and her friends will be registering voters on campus. The league contacted Mahoning and Trumbull county teachers of history, government and social studies to encourage eligible high school students to register on that day.
