Vote for your favorite Allegiant destination, qualify for prizes

Allegiant Air, which provides leisure flights between the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport and destinations in Florida and Myrtle Beach, S.C., will bring its Vote For Vacation tour bus to the Covelli Center from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today and give away prizes.

Allegiant is asking local residents to vote between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. for their favorite Allegiant destination. Every adult 21 years of age and older is eligible to vote, with prizes to be awarded to include two round-trip tickets to an Allegiant destination.

Those who cannot attend the event can fill out an “absentee ballot” at www.vote4vacation.com.

One voter nationwide also wins free flights on Allegiant for four years.

Allegiant also will give 100 people a federal tax break — a coupon good for a $21.60 reduction in the cost of an Allegiant vacation package. That is the cost of federal taxes on a roundtrip ticket.
